Rose Higgins     Rose Higgins is known on Triangle community theater stages as Rose Martin. She is known in popular area bars as The Queen, which she realizes is a bit of a stretch on Hargett Street. At Flex she is known as Starlene Praline the Mississippi Queen of New Orleans, Miss White Trash 1997, having won the original competition from which Trailer Park Prize night was born. At home she is wife to a sexy surfer dude named Paul, mother to yellow tabbies Grace and Mo' Grace and the world-famous Hollywood Hound, Dash Boo Boo.     Rose is the youngest of seven children that were born on six different Air Force bases.     The Martins settled in Cary in 1978 and moved to Raleigh so Rose could attend Enloe High School. After graduating in 1983 Rose got her first apartment on Maiden Lane and has lived within 5 miles of Sadlack's ever since.      Rose has been featured in a national fitness magazine for an amazing feat of weight loss. She has eaten a leftover crouton off of Elton John's plate. She has had a gun pointed at her in an alley. She has been mentioned in an national music magazine for her contribution of vocals on a Raleigh rock band's album.
